Here’s what I learned: First of all, Assetto Corsa demands quality gear. By the time I finally completed a lap of Barcelona without crashing the Ferrari, I was sweaty, tired, and beaming. This game demands a lot more respect and attention than even a closer equivalent like Forza. Through painful trial and error, I discovered that Initial D and Burnout had been the tiny, plastic guitar to Assetto Corsa’s Stratocaster. When I sat down to try the PS4 version of Assetto Corsa, I strapped myself in, adjusted the wheel and pedals, and plowed my virtual Ferrari FXX-K straight into the wall of Barcelona’s turn 1. I’ve been driving up and down mountain roads since before I had a license. I autocross a C4 Corvette and a Datsun Roadster. It makes no bones about being a hardcore simulator, and it is ruthless. If that experience resonates with you, you’re going to have a good time.īut what if you’re a serious guitarist, and the notion of a tiny, plastic guitar offends? You might gravitate more towards a game like Rocksmith, which is more representative of your real-world skills, and perhaps even because it’s a bridge too far for adherents of Guitar Hero’s simple playstyle. A Guitar Hero or a Rock Band wins the hearts of its fans because it delivers the flavor of rock-stardom with a tiny, plastic guitar. The ultimate appeal of any game with “real-world” roots is often in how it captures and gamifies the essence of its subject matter. Furthermore, at the moment DPS stats are already preferred in comparison with defending ones, full C-gears add 810 Vitality more and make defending stats useless (except defense warriors).Simulator games aren’t for everyone. ![]() They have to think twice which items will be celestial and which not, making COs still meaningful. I proposed the limit as one of possible solutions to restrict that every player will have perfect full-celestial gears once CEs become common. That limit (proposal #2) can be applied or not, independent from other proposals (#1 and #3). Crafting lvl 75 items are difficult but lvl 71 not, with ML50, nearly every second crafted item is 71+. If a player have more than 6 C-items, I don't think they are low-level anymore. If a player have only few (2-4) lvl 70 C-items, then the limit does not effect them. How much time/resources/gems/money might be required to make all Lvl 70 gear obsolete? (rhetorical) Having ALL Lvl 71-75 gear would be preferred, of course. Certainly they have lower use potential when pushing to higher TLs, but they are still useful for certain applications, as well as for lower level characters. I am not sure that Lvl 70 Celestial items become obsolete. Mainly proposal #2 can be applied easily, without disruption and making angers among players. Let's solve the crisis in peaceful way, like the proposals above. Please do not try to punish players who (intentionally or not) have farmed CEs, they have to invest times and gems to do it, and there are many innocents among them. The age of Celestial is over, let's welcome a new age. 6 attributes or critical damage instead of vitality. Think out a new type of exclusive gears for event rewards, e.g. By this limitation, the players who have hundreds CEs will have no real advantages against the players who get only few CEs from salvaging.ģ.
